Here, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the Native Tlingit culture through their art, music, and land. Weaving in action, culture, and fun, this Ketchikan shore tour is in high demand!

The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show showcases the tradition, history, and athleticism of lumberjacks in the area! You’ll cheer on these incredible athletes as they engage in a series of traditional lumberjack tasks that have become a sport! From wielding seven-pound axes to maneuvering six-foot razor-sharp saws, this experience is a testament to the rugged spirit of Alaska, guaranteeing an hour filled with non-stop excitement and laughter.

Next, venture into Saxman Native Village for a culinary experience celebrating the best of locally sourced ingredients. You’ll learn about how the intricacies of modern cooking pair with traditional native ingredients and techniques. Savor the flavors of a meticulously curated Alaskan-styled charcuterie board featuring an array of smoked wild game meats, artisan cheeses, and fresh fruits. This is followed by two additional courses thoughtfully crafted by the Chef. The Chef shares insights into ingredient selection and preparation techniques as you dine, perfectly complemented by local wines and beers.

Next is a captivating cultural showcase spotlighting Alaska Native art from the esteemed Cape Fox Corporation Native Art Collection. Your guide will lead you through the area's history and Tlingit customs, traditions, and stories. Feast your eyes upon a treasure trove of priceless and historical artifacts, including exquisite hand-carved pieces by Master Carver Nathan Jackson and other artifacts from the original Village of Cape Fox.
